When the novel begins, you read a dream of a girl Fliss (her real name is Felicity but her friends call here Fliss).
In the dream she’s was walking on a path above the sea.
She was alone and it was very darkness.
In the dream she saw a veri big hotel with very few Windows in it.
She was scared about the house and she didn’t wanted to go inside.
She was trying to go away, but her feeds didn’t want, and they are took her to the hotel.
When she was inside the house she earded a voiced saying; The gate of fate.
And also a boice said: The keep to sleep.
When she went to upstairs, she came by a door.
It was the door of room 13, and the door was opened by itself and a voice said: The room of doom.
She saw something, and she gave a scream.
On that moment her mother came in to er room and talk to her what there is.
Her mother said to her she had a nightmare.
I don’t want to go to the school camp tomorrow she said.
Only because you had a nightmare her mum said?
Ok her mum said.

But the next morning fliss had changed her mind and she went to school.
She saw her friend Lisa.
When she was going inside the school she saw Gary Bazzard and Trot.
They were trying to scared Fliss and Lisa and talk about a Dracula was staying into the town were they were going.
